Notice periods during the first six months of employment
A law has recently been adopted to modify the length of the notice periods to be notified by the employer in case of dismissal during the first six months of employment. The length of the notice periods to be notified by employees remains unchanged. The purpose of this change is to encourage employment by reducing the cost of dismissing employees at the beginning of the contract. This will apply to dismissals notified as from 01 May 2018.
The length of notice periods to be notified by the employer in case of dismissal has been modified as follows:
