EY Law advocaten-Avocats (EY Law) is pleased to announce the arrival of Tom Swinnen as Executive Director in the M&A/transaction law department. Tom, together with one senior associate, joins from Van Bael & Bellis and has over 10 years of experience.

Tom, who is highly regarded by clients for his service-minded and client-oriented style, will head the fast growing M&A/transaction law practice.

He holds a Master in Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), a Master (DES) in Economic Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), a Master in Corporate Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel/Leuven (Belgium) and a Postgraduate in Corporate Finance from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).

In addition to his work as corporate M&A lawyer, Tom is a teaching assistant at the Financial Law Institute of the Universiteit Gent and regularly lectures on corporate M&A. Tom is recommended for corporate/M&A by Chambers Europe, IFLR1000 and Legal500.
