Practice Area

Ine is a senior associate in the Digital Law team at EY Law, where she focuses on a broad range of ICT, IP and GDPR matters including strategic advice, litigation and drafting of agreements. She gained particular experience in the field of ICT/IP (including GDPR), working on both sides (for supplier and customers) e.g., IT service agreements, data processing agreements, licensing, maintenance, support services, cloud, managed services, SaaS contracts as well as outsourcing. Working for both sides has brought her the necessary know-how and pragmatism to best understand the needs of both parties involved and to ensure an efficient and practical approach to their legal issues. Another important part of her practice consists of drafting and negotiating commercial (including e-commerce) and consumer law issues (cookies, direct marketing, legal disclaimers, general terms and conditions…).

Additional Info

Ine obtained her Master of Laws at the University of Leuven in 2013. She specialized further by completing the Advanced Master in IP, ICT and Media Law at the Catholic University of Leuven. As a senior associate, Ine joined the EY Digital Law Team in April 2020. Prior to joining EY Law, Ine gained experience in a law firm specialized in commercial and IP law. Furthermore, she has worked as a legal counsel in an international IT company where she provided legal advice on ICT, IP and commercial matters. In addition, she helped successfully setting up the GDPR project within the company.

Ine is a native Dutch speaker, she is also fluent in English and has a working understanding of French.
